Bob Ross

I love watching Bob Ross. He's like Jesus with a paintbrush. He takes this naked canvas, and wonderful things just appear out of thin air. Chris and I watch and sometimes I even get mad it's so amazing. I am humbled by my own insignificant talent in comparison. :(

I get my second paycheck tomorrow! And I got a $190 deposit check from Ferris for my dorm room, which I forgot I even get back!! That's the best kind of money. With that and my coming paycheck, I'll have paid off over a third of my car. Yay! :D

Work is going really well, and I got those jelly-sole-things for my shoes, so now I'm Jellin' or whatever they call it. I've learned a bunch of stuff since starting at the pharmacy, and now I'm even entering in new prescriptions and trying to read crappy doctor handwriting. I'm a pharmacist already! :D

I still adore my car, and I have to wash it often it would seem. There's a giant maple tree over my parents' driveway, and birds just sit over my car and crap on it all day (well, at least during the hours it's not parked at work). Ugh. It's a good thing I have Tom Tom too, because 69 is a mess right now, and today they closed down the entire east-bound side of it. So when I got out of work at seven and tried to get on the highway, those giant ROAD CLOSED gates were up and I was at a complete loss. But my trusty Tom Tom lead me home. *warm and fuzzy feeling*

Last night while lying in bed, I started thinking about all the funny things Beth and I did together at pharmacy school this past year. I thought about all my fellow dormmates, and some good times we had. It was perhaps the first time since moving home that I truly missed school (well, not school, but you know), and I've been home now for almost a month. That's probably a record for me.

And I just saw Bob Ross paint a waterfall in about 30 seconds. It looks real. Son of a bitch.
