Well, I finished the ass-raping of exams that was last week, and this week I don't have ANY exams, so I got to spend a nice weekend without pharmacy school! WOOHOO! Mike's parents came up to visit him and we all went to Traverse City! We enjoyed two wonderful nights of the bubbling hot tub, swimming pool, and queen-sized beds. We also ate at some delicious restaurants, and drove through the vineyards of the Leelanau Peninsula! It was so beautiful. :) I even tasted some wine at the winery, and it was pretty good. I so enjoyed being able to relax and not think about anything else. :)
Today it was exceptionally cold, AGAIN, and I find myself anticipating springtime like never before!! Honestly, I'm so SICK of winter! ARGH!! I was happy to park in the garage again tonight, because after the blowing snow this weekend, I actually had snow INSIDE my trunk! How does this happen??!
Today was the Daddy-pants birthday. I got to talk to him for about an hour and it was truly awesome. He's so proud and encouraging of everything I do, I'm so friggin' lucky. Even when I feel like a total failure after a brutal exam, and I'm completely embarrassed about how I think I did, he's still proud of me. Geez, what the crap would I do without that?
Tomorrow the Wonderful Shruti is going to Wayne State University for her interview with their medical school! So everyone wish her tons of luck--she's worked her butt off and deserves to get in. She'd be the best damn doctor you'd ever have too. :D *cheers*
